Lisi Harrison Live at Barnes and Noble, Huntington Beach!

September 23, 2011 By Mary

I had the pleasure of attending a signing by Lisi Harrison at my local Barnes and Noble.  If you ever have a chance to attend one of these events, you will be impressed by the children in attendance.  These kids had extremely intelligent questions about character development and the writing process.  Even the moms participated with very few eye rolls from their offspring!

Lisi was there to promote the latest addition to her MONSTER HIGH series, WHERE THERE’S A WOLF, THERE’S A WAY.

A beautiful table was set up for the signing which was complete with character shaped balloons!

(Of course, I took the balloon picture with my cell phone and I can’t figure out how to get them posted here!)

Lisi is discussing the new book.  I am new to this video stuff, so I apologize for the quality!

Lisi is also appearing at the OC Children’s Book Fest at Orange Coast College on October 2!  I will have a special giveaway of this series.

Looks like a great night! And it looks like we can count on more on the spot reporting from the OC Children’s book festival next month!?
Fun! You have some great opportunities around you!

I thought there might be a riot of 9 y/o girls! The majority of kids were dressed up as characters. I wish I was able to take pictures of their outfits, but I would have to have releases to post them. A few teens had gone all out with hair and makeup as well.

It was a lot of fun. I have big plans for next Sunday!

I am glad they are so invested in the books! I love that they put so much effort into dressing up and hair!
