Waiting on Wednesday: A Million Suns by Beth Revis

December 21, 2011 By Mary

“Waiting On” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.

This week’s pre-publication “can’t-wait-to-read” selection is:

Book Description

Series: Across the Universe | Publication Date: January 10, 2012
Godspeed was fueled by lies. Now it is ruled by chaos.

It’s been three months since Amy was unplugged. The life she always knew is over. And everywhere she looks, she sees the walls of the spaceship Godspeed. But there may just be hope: Elder has assumed leadership of the ship. He’s finally free to enact his vision – no more Phydus, no more lies.

But when Elder discovers shocking news about the ship, he and Amy race to discover the truth behind life on Godspeed. They must work together to unlock a puzzle that was set in motion hundreds of years earlier, unable to fight the romance that’s growing between them and the chaos that threatens to tear them apart.

In book two of the Across the Universe trilogy, New York Times bestselling author Beth Revis mesmerizes us again with a brilliantly crafted mystery filled with action, suspense, romance, and deep philosophical questions. And this time it all builds to one mind-bending conclusion: They have to get off this ship.

I’m plan to read ATU soon. I’ve been putting it off, so I don’t have a long wait until the next book. I really like the sound of the series.

I just started book 1 last night. I had to wait until my dad finished it before I could read it! I made the mistake of leaving my book on their coffee table the last time I was over there and he hijacked it. =) Apparently, it’s pretty good. He’s asking about the sequel too. lol

Great pick! I was lucky enough to get an ARC at Comic Con and I loved this book. I loved Across The Universe but A Million Suns was even better! Hope you enjoy it as well when it comes out!
