  5. My favorite book this year is Dark Triumph by Robin Lafevers. Technically, it was released last year, but I stopped blogging for a bit last year so I only got to read it this year when it was up on NetGalley in anticipation of the release of Mortal Heart.

  29. Out of the books I have read so far this year my favorites are Alienated and The Taking.

  31. It’s hard to pick one favorite, but I really loved Fire by Kristin Cashore (Graceling series, didn’t come out this year but I read it this year). Another book I loved was Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz.

  34. One of my favorite books this year has been The Winner’s Curse. I’ve never been book jealous until I saw pics of The Winner’s Crime ARCs. :p

  35. I’ve read so many good books this year! I’m going to say Percy Jackson, Mortal Instruments, the Griever’s Mark, the Last Changeling, Daughter of Smoke and Bone, and the first Grisha. Thanks for the giveaway.

  37. It didn’t come out this year – but I finally followed up and read the Gregor Chronicles (loved them!)

  44. I really liked Ruin & Rising by Leigh Bardugo, but also there are so many more that I really enjoyed also.

  69. My current favorite is The Help by Kathryn Stockett. I just got around to reading it and watching the movie. I loved both.

  72. That’s a hard question to answer….I loved Magic Breaks and Burn for Me by Ilona Andrews…and Murder of Crows by Anne Bishop.

  88. Everything I Never Told You: A Novel by Celeste Ng
    I thought this book was a page-turner because it showed the different relationships between family members, the problems they have and how hard it can be to understand each other.

  96. I’ve read so many great books this year that it is hard to pick just one! My favorite recent read was The Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy.
