    My favorite book this year is Dark Triumph by Robin Lafevers. Technically, it was released last year, but I stopped blogging for a bit last year so I only got to read it this year when it was up on NetGalley in anticipation of the release of Mortal Heart.

    It’s hard to pick one favorite, but I really loved Fire by Kristin Cashore (Graceling series, didn’t come out this year but I read it this year). Another book I loved was Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz.

    Everything I Never Told You: A Novel by Celeste Ng
    I thought this book was a page-turner because it showed the different relationships between family members, the problems they have and how hard it can be to understand each other.
