    I’m grateful for everything by Rudyard Kipling, but my favorite was the story of Rikki Tikki Tavi. It was the first book that I ever read by myself when I was a kid, and I fell in love with reading because of it.

    I’d have to say the Nancy Drew books that I found in my closet when I was in 6th grade. They were hardback copies from the 1940’s. I had found them in my closet and asked my mom about them. She told me they were hers from when she was about my age. That started my love of reading 🙂

    I just finished reading Wonder last night, I guess I am grateful for that book because it’s such an inspiration. It reminded me to be kinder. We can all be kind but we should aim to be kinder. I love it! I’m going to gift it to my godchildren.

    The Bell Jar, I found that book as a teenager, and it was an amazing comfort. Unfortunately, I was dealing with a lot of issues, and it helped a lot in feeling as if I wasn’t all alone.

    The book I’m most grateful I read (besides the Bible) would be Morgan Matson’s Since You’ve Been Gone. I related to Emily so much. I was going through a lot of the same struggle she does and it made me feel like I wasn’t so alone in what I was dealing with.

    I know it is not original but the Harry Potter series. This was a series my daughters and I would read together as they came out. We even went to a couple of the midnight release parties. Now my nephew is reading the series and talks to us about them. Someday my granddaughter will start them and I can’t wait.
