The Bell Jar, I found that book as a teenager, and it was an amazing comfort. Unfortunately, I was dealing with a lot of issues, and it helped a lot in feeling as if I wasn’t all alone.
The book I’m most grateful I read (besides the Bible) would be Morgan Matson’s Since You’ve Been Gone. I related to Emily so much. I was going through a lot of the same struggle she does and it made me feel like I wasn’t so alone in what I was dealing with.
I will always be grateful for the twilight books !
This year I just loved (and am grateful) for Rachelle Rea’s trilogy of Steadfast Love.
I know it is not original but the Harry Potter series. This was a series my daughters and I would read together as they came out. We even went to a couple of the midnight release parties. Now my nephew is reading the series and talks to us about them. Someday my granddaughter will start them and I can’t wait.
