We relaxed and enjoyed the day. I bought a watermelon for the occasion and we grilled and had watermelon for dessert. Most everyone watched the fireworks from out back deck. I was in the bedroom, buried in shivering dogs.
We have a family tradition that we do every year where we go to my Grandmother’s and cookout and stay up late to watch all the fireworks go off around her house. She lives on a sort of hill so it’s a great view and we’re able to see gorgeous fireworks from miles away.
Parade and party! Thanks for the giveaway!

My sister came to visit from out of town and my boyfriend’s sister and niece came over to have a nice dinner. We tried to watch the fireworks, but my son is too little and didn’t enjoy them.
