  2. I usually stay home with take out sushi and watch Anderson Cooper and that’s what I plan to do this year too!

  6. Not really! I will probably get together with my mom’s side of the family to watch the countdown and drink champagne, but I think I will be the only one who is not wearing sweats 🙂

  8. For New Year’s Eve it’s going to be the usually family gathering with food, music and countdown. Happy Holidays!

  22. For the past few years, we have stayed at home and had a glass of wine and watched everything on TV and let the younger ones go out and celebrate!!

  23. I don’t have any plans yet for New Year’s. I have to work for a few hours in the morning on New Year’s Eve, but I’m still trying to figure out what I’ll do that night.

  58. We have owned our house since November 30th and we are hosting our first party for New Year’s Eve. Even if the house is incomplete- I am so excited to start making great memories here!

  65. I do not have plans on New Year’s Eve so far. There isn’t really much that goes on in my town.

  74. No we don’t. We are usually in Mexico at this time of year (and have plans) but this is the second year in 14 years that we will be in Canada. I don’t mind having a quiet night in.

  84. We get to end this year and begin next year in the greatest way ever possible. While my daughter and her fiance celebrate we get to have the grandchildren. We will have our own special celebration with kid friendly party favors that must include the poppers that throw out confetti and poppers you throw on the ground and they make a noise. We will have snacks, play games, watch movies with cuddle time. There is no better way to spend it!

  86. I do, but the specifics are very high up in the air right now. I know that I will be with my boyfriend, and that it will be “our Christmas”– we will be exchanging holiday gifts. Beyond that, I have no idea whether we’ll go out, stay in, both, neither, all….. :p

  88. I’ll do some baking and then watch an Alan Rickman movie until midnight when the fireworks will start.

  92. I’ll be volunteering at the Denver Botanic Gardens Blossoms of Light. Then home to get warm.

  96. For New Year’s Eve I’ll be hanging out with my kids watching movies and eating chips and dips! We’ll prolly order a pizza and just play board games till the ball drops!
