    I read the Lumatere Chronicles series by Melina Marchetta this year and it was definitely my favourite! She’s an amazing author and it was such a great world with really good characters.

    While I haven’t finished it yet (it was released late in the year, and I’m working through a library copy), I think that “Swing Time” by Zadie Smith will end up being my favorite from 2016. I think she’s just brilliant.
