DOMINO: A girl with blue hair and a demon in her mind.
CAIN: A stone giant on the brink of exploding.
MADAM KARINA: A woman who demands obedience.
WILSON: The one who will destroy them all.
When Madam Karina discovers Domino in an alleyway, she offers her a position inside her home for entertainers in secluded West Texas. Left with few alternatives and an agenda of her own, Domino accepts. It isn’t long before she is fighting her way up the ranks to gain the madam’s approval. But after suffering weeks of bullying and unearthing the madam’s secrets, Domino decides to leave. It’ll be harder than she thinks, though, because the madam doesn’t like to lose inventory. But then, Madam Karina doesn’t know about the person living inside Domino’s mind. Madam Karina doesn’t know about Wilson.

I love my writing office, though many times I’ll forsake it for the comfort of the couch. Still, it’s filled with treasures I’ve collected over the years, and my beloved books.
The Dante Walker illustration is a Cassandra Jean, one of my favorite artists, and the poem on my desk is “Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night” by Dylon Thomas. It reminds me to keep fighting for my dreams, and to write with my entire self.
The Happily Ever After sign on the wall is to remind myself that readers want to feel good at the end of a book, so even when I want to kill all my characters, I refrain…mostly.
I collect the Furry Bones creatures, like this one roasting marshmallows, and the lion one seen in another pic. And the dragon was created for me by Author Julie Kagawa, and was made in Dante Walker’s image (note the cuff on its ankle, and the black and red colors).
The hedgehog was given to me by a reader (I have no idea why, but I love him all the same), and the pig is from my agency, Pippin Properties. Finally, there’s Edgar, the green monster, who travels with me when I go on tour.
Hope you guys liked this inside look at my office, and that you enjoy my newest book, Violet Grenade!

I love seeing the office. It’s so pretty! How fun to imagine the creativity that flows there.
I am a total Bookaholic! I would love to win more books to read.
Oh goodness, those little things on the shelves are so cute. I don’t have anything on my bookshelves except books and one set of gargoyle book ends.
What a thrilling book! Love the cover too. Thanks for sharing.
