About Michael:
Michael Okon is an award-winning and best-selling author of multiple genres including paranormal, thriller, horror, action/adventure and self-help. He graduated from Long Island University with a degree in English, and then later received his MBA in business and finance. Coming from a family of writers, he has storytelling in his DNA. Michael has been writing from as far back as he can remember, his inspiration being his love for films and their impact on his life. From the time he saw The Goonies, he was hooked on the idea of entertaining people through unforgettable characters.
Michael is a lifelong movie buff, a music playlist aficionado, and a sucker for self-help books. He lives on the North Shore of Long Island with his wife and children.

1. What is on your nightstand?
A bottle of Poland Springs water, a picture of my kids and wife, a treasure chest with my watches and rings, and the books – Hacking the American Mind, Rounders the screenplay, and Law of Success.
2. What author would you totally fan?
Shakespeare. Not kidding.
3. What makes you cringe?
When someone takes a bite of an apple. I can’t. I have to leave the room.
4. Do you obsessively plot out each point or just go with the flow?
Obsessively plot out every point of my story. Can never go with the flow. I’ll never finish if I do.
5. Is there a word you love to use?
Dongle. It’s a little piece of computer equipment.

I don’t have any pets – allergic to cats and dogs. But I have two kids, and one of them pees outside all the time.
