#Giveaway The Last Atlantian by Mikki Noble @missmikkinoble @XpressoReads Ends 2.4

January 28, 2020 By Mary

by Mikki Noble

The Last Atlantian
Mikki Noble
Publication date: December 13th 2019
Genres: Mythology, Urban Fantasy, Young Adult

Spencer did not plan to work on her birthday. She didn’t plan a lot of things, but they happened anyway. Like, when she touched a guy and he turned into a gold statue, or when some stranger appeared to tell her she was in danger. She didn’t plan to see her life forever changed by one simple act, and it still happened anyway.

What Spencer doesn’t know is why. Why is all this happening to her? Why does she have the power to turn people into gold all of a sudden. Who is she really?

And why is this cute guy calling her the last Atlantian?

Author Bio:

As far back as she can remember, Mikki was creating characters and stories in her head. It wasn’t until fate brushed the tip of its wings over her eyes that she began to see that writing was what she was born to do. She loves animals, reading, everything supernatural related, and enjoys spending her free time on social media whenever she can.

  1. What is on your nightstand?
  • water glass, dream journal, and e-reader, pens, reading light

  1. What author would you totally fan?
  • Rick Riordan is my favorite author of all time.
  • I’ve also found some really incredible authors in the writing community on social media, mainly Twitter, FB and Instagram.

  1. What makes you cringe?

So many things make me cringe. Alarm clocks, vacuum cleaners, bad grammar to mention a few.

  1. Do you obsessively plot out each point or just go with the flow?

A little of both, actually. I plot out big character moves and then let them do what they feel is right. If they stray from what I’ve planned, I follow the character.

  1. Is there a word you love to use?

Oh, there are so many. “Just” used to be a big one until one of my editor’s pointed it out. Now I’m conscious of it. I’ve learned to try and vary my words and I’m constantly on the lookout for new favorites. I have my trusty thesaurus handy at all times. If I don’t, there are some online ones, including WordHippo.
