Sets 1 & 2 Getting Ready

These books are perfect for the very young who are just starting to grasp the concept of the alphabet.  I believe that reading to children early helps them develop a love of language which leads to reading.  Learning the alphabet is the first step.  The design and set up of these books was really thought out and nicely done.  Each small book is one letter of the alphabet and they are broken down into easy bites.

These small chapter books seem well suited for ages as young as 3 and can be used over and over again.  I like the included instruction that will help parents or teachers work with children to recognize letters, the difference between capital and lower case, and makes the connection between the letter and how it sounds.

I love these books and can’t wait to use them for beginning readers. Excellent concept that is much needed.

These sound like they would be really helpful to not just the kids learning to read, but also their parents. I like that each set teaches a different concept, like vowel sounds or upper and lower case letters. This would be a great set to won.

As a librarian and educator, I appreciate anything that will give children an early and easy entry into the wonderful world of letters, words, and books. I wish more had been available when my children were young. Now I make sure my grandchildren get early exposure and a good start.
