Chirpy the chick loves numbers, sneaks away to ride the school bus, and proceeds to sneak into the classroom of Mrs. Zoober where she learns about gravity and how to use it. Chirpy discovers that her sibling, Clucky, may have been kidnapped by a fox which leads to a whole adventure filled with Chirpy using her math and science skills to the rescue. It is such a fun read and should help kids want to learn the same things as Chirpy does and put them to use. The illustrations are perfect to pull the reader through the pages. Each page is filled with chicken humor and STEM knowledge and will have even the most reluctant reader begging for more of this series.
