REVIEW
This is probably one of the most believable paranormal stories I have read in a long time.  Five boys that have been friends for a long time in a small town with no traffic, crime, or threats find their senses heighten on a local field.  The field is an energy source that has given them powers – not quite superpowers, but an increase in their abilities of the five senses.  The boys are drawn to evil through their senses and the nearby town is crawling with terrors.
The storytelling is nicely done and the author makes you turn the page with anticipation and dread.  I love how the boys grow closer and depended on each other as they solve the mystery.  I love playing guess the plot but with this one, it was hard to do.  This is a fun read.
