CRANKENSTEIN VALENTINE

REVIEW

5 stars

Crankenstein turns green when he gets Cranky!  Halloween is HIS day and when things happen and are NOT WHAT HE HAD IN MIND, the story brings the reader into his bad day.  This is a story that everyone can relate to especially when a day that has been planned for months doesn’t go as planned.  Crankenstein day just gets worse and worse.  It starts out with Crankenstein wakes up with a toothache and things just get worse from there.  At the Halloween Parada, no one can identify his costume and another kid dressed just like him wins first prize.  As he goes out to trick or treat, the first thing he gets is a toothbrush.  This was not what he had planned and it didn’t get any better when his brother steals his candy.  This story will be a great start for new readers since there is a lot of repetition and similar-sounding words.  The story is very winning.
