A Chipmunk Ballerina. A Treasure Chest Full of Jewels. A Zombie DJ. These are just a few of the many stickers ready to be peeled off Martina Rivera’s new sticker sheet and come to life in Book 2 of the Sticker Girl series, Sticker Girl Rules the School. With a newfound confidence in hand, Martina is thinking about running for student council. Of course, her rambunctious sticker sidekick Craig―a talking cupcake―thinks this is a great idea and volunteers her to run for class president. As Martina soon discovers, running a campaign is a piece of cake compared to organizing a class trip and managing a horde of unruly stickers determined to create chaos within her group of friends. A magical new adventure awaits with Sticker Girl!

MY THOUGHTS
Sticker Girl Continues!
Martina and her friends are back to have another adventure and bring her out of her shell. The girls have discovered a new sticker sheet in the magic toolbox and with luck, Craig the Cupcake is there, so he is the first sticker that Bev and Martina bring to life. Craig again forces Martina to expand her boundaries and become more outgoing by running for president of the school class. With a DJ zombie spinning and a ballerina chipmunk named Walter to bring in some much-prized humor. Of course, the girls are also trying to avoid Martina’s brothers.
This is such a cute series that is perfect for children that are moving on to their first chapter books. Sticker Girl is such a great way to get across important messages about believing in yourself and speaking out when you need to. I think my favorite part was the treasure chest that appeared with real jewels but turned into paste when anyone else handled them.
